As subcontractor to NIITEK, Inc., ILS-INC will support the Generation II Husky Mounted Detection System (HMDS) for the three-week Logistics Demonstration (Log Demo) in Gagetown, New Brunswick, Canada for the Canadian Army.
The HMDS program is a joint venture between the U.S. Army and the Canadian Army. Product Manager-Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (PM-NVESD) office is in direct contact and support to the Canadian Army for the acquisition of the Generation II HMDS for use in Operation Enduring Freedom and training at bases around Canada.
ILS-INC's function will be to control the Technical Manual (TM) and Training Support Package (TSP) for any changes required during the event. ILS-INC will also answer questions from the National Defense personnel and Canadian Soldiers to ensure successful completion of the Log Demo. The first week of the event is to begin August 30, 2010, with the remaining two weeks to follow in November 2010.
